Default Your favorite bar WITH PIC AND REVIEW!

heres mine. Gooski's. 2 blocks from my house.
prolly going there tonight.

heres a pic from googles street view.

review from Beer Advocate:
"This is one of my favorite places to go. Its on Polish Hill, a stones throw from the bustle of Pittsburgh's strip district. Here the punk rockers and steel workers drink elbow to elbow. the menu consists of bar food and good Polish food if you want to get a real taste of Pittsburgh's polish hill area.
There are numerous beers on tap & excellent selection of bottled beers. Everything from Past Blue Ribbon to Chimay can be ordred up. As well as local beer from Penn Brewery & Iron City.
The bar area has booths and ample bar space. There is a back room with pool tables and a stage. A cover charge on live music Saturday nights generally runs $5, other nights the Juke box plays an eclectic collection suited to all most any taste."

Southside Johnny's in Colorado Springs.

This place is south of downtown and has a wide variety of patrons. Best of all it's within walking distance of my house so since I've gotten 1 DUI leaving here I will no longer get any others. Unless I'm not that drunk...

In Pittsburgh my favorite is Gene's Place in Oakland. Z Lounge in the Southside is my favorite upscale place.

It's been a little while since I've been there, but The Smiling Moose used to be a cool spot. It was different from my normal type hangouts but I always had a friend or two from work there so I'd stop by from time to time.

The upstairs was always weird though. One time, I saw dudes wearing polo shirts with sweaters tied around their necks. Another time, I saw people straight from a Formal there. The Mouse isn't exactly the spot to go to if your preppy... it's like they ended up there by accident.

We had a banner that we jacked from Gene's, although I'll always remember it as Denny's.

The Red Lion Tavern, Silverlake. Los Angeles, California

It's SO hard to find bars in LA that aren't "LA". No velvet rope [censored], just people getting loaded. And legitimately good German food, including a kick-ass breakfast. Lounge-style guy plays the piano downstairs, but the best area is the beergarden. Warsteiner on tap.
