Is Taco Bell dying?
Taco Bell restaurants have been removed from 4 of the closest malls around me with no real notification, yet I still see commercials all the time for it. There really isn't competition in the area in terms of tacos (we have some burrito places that are good but not in the mall), anyone else in the Northeast seeing this happen?

Re: Is Taco Bell dying?
They're all I have. No Baja Fresh or Chipotle for me. For the record, I live in upstate NY and go to school in Indiana.

Re: Is Taco Bell dying?
I think I've seen 1 or 2 in the san diego area. I am sure there are more, but definitly not as prevelant as they are in Louisiana Then again I don't look for them. Chipotle is better.

Re: Is Taco Bell dying?
Chicago has an abundance of TBs and Chipotles. I like Chipotle a lot better.

Re: Is Taco Bell dying?
Comparing TB and Chipotle is kind of silly. It's like comparing McDonalds and Fuddruckers. Not really the same type of restaurant.

Re: Is Taco Bell dying?
I find TB and Chipotle very similar actually, the only differences being Chipotle has classier atmosphere and better food.
I think Chipotle is definitely cutting into their business. I know they stole me away. |
