PKR and PokerStar have the same bank account?!?

OK, I just cashed out at PKR and PokerStars. Both sent me a cheque and they arrived within a day of each other. PokerStars was the first to arrive, but to save a trip to the bank, I decided to wait for the one from PKR. Well it arrived today and I was totally surprised. Apart from the amount, the cheques were identical (except for the cheque number of course). They both had the same sort code and the same account number! Even the letter that came with the sheques were virtually identical, with the only difference being the words "PKR" and "PokerStars".

So are they the same company? Or am I missing something here?

It could be that they are using the same third party company to make payments for them
