can someone transfer me money on FT if i transfer on stars?

I'm not sure about the proper way to do this but i wanna throw like five bucks on FT just to try it out. i would much rather do this then go through the hassle of depositing. I would then just transfer that amount on stars. is there usually a charge for this? can people be on here be trusted? and lastly can anyone help?
