a couple river decisions vs nenad medic with TPTK

I dunno about nenad since he doesnt play as high as me but I call in both spots, hand 1, doesnt two pair+ raise u on flop or turn, does a river two pair really check/shove that river frequently? or can we assume that he backdoored a flush, if not, then id say hes transforming a marginal hand into a bluff, call. Hand 2 I call also, hes repping only a gutter IMO and ur line looks so weak that i dont c y he would overbet shove the river unless u guys r leveling.

Hand 1 you only really beat weird made hands that he turned into bluffs, I prob fold quickly. Also I know this may seem results oriented but what do you think you are getting value out of on the river?
