I don't mind it too much.

Did you watch goofyballer's video? He puts to use a tiny 4-bet preflop occasionally in spots like this where there might be light 3-betting and villain is capable of a fold.

As played I don't think it's too bad though. Once you call preflop and he leads the flop I think a shove is your best option.

I like the call. Against a light 3-bettor I call all day with KQs in position. Playing big pots in position with hands that figure to be good against an opponents range is a good idea right? It's a great flop for you and the shove is very standard I think. Wp.

As a slight sidetrack-

What's your line if the flop comes Kxx or Qxx and he leads into you?

Im not sure why you think villain definitely has a hand here. Im going to assume that he will c-bet pretty much everytime after he 3 bets me so his line doesnt tell me much. As far as what I would do on a Kxx or Qxx board, hmm. Im going to call a flop bet on both of those and see what he does on the turn. Im not going to raise or shove in either one even if the board is drawy probably. Im not sure if this guy double barrels light so I would have to see the turn and his action before I could decide from there.

B/c of recent history. Usually when you catch someone 3betting light and he 3bets you again in like the next orbit, you should weight their range towards better hands. But that is all pretty intuitive and depends on your feel for the dynamic more than anything else, so I can't say that you shouldn't play this hand as you did.

While I will agree with you normally, I have never been 3 bet this much from a villain so Im going to assume his 3 betting range does not polarize towards the upper part of his range even after our recent history. I gave up on everytime he 3 bet me except that one 4 bet because I just figured he was on a heater at first as is usually the case. He could have figured he ran into a real hand that one time, doesnt mean he has to fear my next open.
