Default Commonly accepted ITM% for a winner

Looked through the faq and didn't see any particular #. I know there won't be an exact answer, but what is an acceptable ITM% for a winner? Let's say Party 33 speeds, if it matters.

50%?

I play at Stars with 9 players. ITM should be over 40% at the lower stakes. 42% is very good.

Yeah, this is a good number at the 33s, but decreases as you move up in stakes.

Something like 14/11/12 would be pretty darn good at the 55s, for a total of 37% ITM. This is for a large sample size >3000 including your awful streaks, of course.

Curious as to why you have listed a higher % of 3rds (12%) than 2nds (11%). Can you explain that please?

Gambling when 3 handed leads to more 1sts and 3rds.

Once you get ITM you are playing to win, so usually you will either bust out in 3rd or get a big chipstack and be able to get 1st. Also a good player will be better at HU than his opponent so once it's down to the final two, you will get 1st more often than 2nd.

Well that's the basic idea but I wouldn't say "usually", it's all about incentives, the payout jump is larger 2nd to 1st than 3rd to 2nd but you can't go crazy. It all comes down to the ICM math in a given hand.
