Lego Star Wars II
Just got this game for the 360. I have to say that I am really impressed with the game. It's simple enough that my 6-year old can play it and not get frustrated. Yet complicated enough where she actually has to think in order to get past some areas. And it's also deep enough to make the game interesting for an adult (at least an adult who's into Star Wars, like me.)
The demo is up on Xbox Live, so be sure to check it out. |

Re: Lego Star Wars II
Quick hint for completists: Get the X2 power brick before buying anything else.
I bought all the characters and several of the power-ups before I looked at a Guide. Turns out that the score multiplier power bricks a cumulative. So if you have the 2x, 4x, and 6x multipliers, you actually have a 48x multiplier. This should makes getting the True Jedi status rediculously easy. However, since I bought all the characters first, I have little money left to buy the point multiplier. And since I generally play with my 6-year old daughter (who has the attention span of a 6-year old), it's difficult to get true jedi sometimes because she wants to play around instead of just killing characters and get points. |
