Default Am I a fish?

Hello everyone. I made a play this afternoon that was very criticized by my opponent. But I really think I made the right play here it is:

Sitngo tournament 10$ buy-in pays the first three places (30$, 45$, 75$). 2 players left. blinds 75 - 150.

I ( player A) am on the button with 4d 7d and I have about 18k chips

PLayer B has 4500 chips

PLayer A raises to 650$
PLayer B calls

The pot is now 1500$

the flop is

4c 8c qd

player B checks
player A bets 750
player B moves all in for about 3000.
The pot is about 5500 chips
player A calls for 2500.
player B turns over KK

The turn is Ad
The river is 7h

As you see I luckily wins, the river giving me 2pair.

Player gently tells me I made some kind of a huge mistake, calling overpair with bottom pair where I was a 4 to 1 underdog, but I disagree.

I was offered good odds 2,25 to 1). If he had an overpair (what he actually had) I was a 4 to 1 dog, but there was a club draw on the board, so he may have made that play with any two clubs, where i had a coin flip. Less probably but still possible with hands like T9 or JT, maybe even J9, or overcards. So I think 2,25 to 1 odds are worth it
One more reason is I had the big stack, so I was still in even if I lost this one. And player B having seen me make this kind of play, I could value bet a lot more easily, and he could get scared to mess with me with nothing.

Overall I think it was a good call.

What do you think?

If you have to ask, you are.

Even if he had overcards and a flush draw you were behind.

You played it fine. You can't fold your way to a win!
