Greg Raymer's Set of Sevens

(Hold'em) Filippi raises under the gun to 50,000, and Raymer calls from the big blind. The flop comes {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Raymer checks, Filippi bets 25,000, Raymer raises to 50,000, and Filippi calls. The turn card is the {K-Hearts}, Raymer checks, Filippi bets 50,000, Raymer raises to 100,000, and Filippi calls. The river card is the {9-Clubs}, Raymer bets 50,000, and Filippi calls. Raymer shows {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a set of sevens, and Fillipi mucks. Raymer takes the pot, and Matusow says, "Quads and a set of sevens, back to back." Raymer laughs it off, pointing out that he's not the only one catching cards at the table.

Greg Raymer Makes Quad Fives

(Hold'em) Raymer raises under the gun to 50,000, and Bonomo calls from the big blind. The flop comes {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, and both players check. The turn card is the {5-Spades}, Bonomo checks, Raymer bets 50,000, and Bonomo folds. Raymer shows A-5 for quad fives as he collects the pot.

Justin Bonomo Folds Pocket Kings to Greg Raymer with an Ace on the Board

(Hold'em) Justin Bonomo raises from the cutoff to 50,000, Raymer reraises from the button to 75,000, Bonomo reraises to 100,000, and Raymer calls. The flop comes {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Bonomo bets 25,000, and Raymer calls. The turn card is the {10-Diamonds}, Bonomo checks, Raymer bets 50,000, and Bonomo folds, showing {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Raymer takes the pot.

All you guys bitching about the structure:

(Serious question) Are the people PLAYING in this event complaining? So far I've seen that Daniel N approves of it (and I assume Howard L does as well since he made it). Allen Cunningham approves.

Is it just all the railtards who are up in arms about it?

and by the time it's the final table tomorrow, everybody will have like 10 times the BB.

Do you see how these two statements contradict each other?

Name one person in this field that normally complains about anything.

Daniel - He helped make it, too stubborn to admit his error.

Lederer - Same problem at Daniel.

Raymer - Still in.

Does Ivey EVER publicly complain to the media? Cunningham? Chan?

Anyway, even if you re-read Daniel's blog, his argument that it's a good structure is WEAK.

Yes, this is to do with big names going broke. Like Negreanu who started the day with 1.5x his starting stack after 43 levels and 3 days of play, and then lost in 1 hand thanks to the horrible structure

Call me dense but no, I don't see the contradiction. I'm saying the structure sucks and that both today and tomorrow will be short days.

BTW, another gone ... down to 18.

And another ... ZeeJustin gone.

Anyone still doubt my 2 hour claim now? And even if 4 hours ... it's still a lame Day 4. Day 4 is suppose to be a star-filled dramatic finish to the final table. Not some 2-4 hour donkfest.
