It really is pretty hard to think of an explanation, but I'd still bring it up with her like "OMG, you won't believe what happened!", not "OMG, what are you trying to do to me?".
And assuming its not her, hope she doesn't see this thread.

This seems like sloppy work though, no remote timer or anything, she was just hoping like a lightswitch or TV would do the job? This lessens the likelihood of attempted blowing-uppedness, imo.
