Re: Official NBA Offseason Thread, 2007/2008 season.
[ QUOTE ]
Trade Odom & Bynum for J.O'Neal. I don't see how the Pacers turn this down. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The cash seems to work (or its darn close, LA might need to kick some cash the Pacers' way), but I'm not sure they make it. O'Neal is making a ton of money in the next 3 years, and he's damaged goods. I guess it might make sense, but they'd need some more pieces still. [/ QUOTE ] I can see it happening, not because it makes sense or that it's a good move for the Lakers, but because Kobe's putting them under so much pressure to make a move. Other teams see that and they're going to take advantage. Maybe, J. Oneal performs near what he used to, but if he doesn't- the Lakers can wave good-bye to Kobe and start the long road of rebuilding. KG- I don't really believe that Minnesota lets him go. Just can't see them getting enough value. Unrelated, but what do you think the Cavs chances of landing Milicic are? Ilgauskus is on a fast decline, and I think a player like Milicic makes sense especially because they're loosing Andy. They need a rebounder and a shot blocker, instead of Z's one inch vertical would help. Do they have the money to do it? When will they be able to dump Snow/ Marshall/ Jones/ Newble/ Pollard/ Wesley? |

Re: Official NBA Offseason Thread, 2007/2008 season.
According to Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports
June 27 Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett is close to going to the Phoenix Suns in a monumental three-way trade that would send Phoenix forward Amare Stoudemire to the Atlanta Hawks, league sources said Wednesday. Atlanta would move the Nos. 3 and 11 picks in Thursday's draft, as well as Zaza Pachulia and Anthony Johnson, to Minnesota. this thread says "official" |
