the amt of bb doesn't matter only the percentage of times you have be right to call. Obviously the former changes the later, but only later matters.

huh? I think you just agreed with me without meaning to or something.

anyway, I only got into this because you were acting like someone considering folding is retarded, which imo is pretty dumb on your part. You can argue it's a call and I def call at the table sometimes but you thinking a 550bb decision with 88 here is a no-brainer is wrong (and tbh you've just been kinda annoying in this thread is the only reason I still care)

also my post was based on playing a few thousands hands with villain, and he himself comes in here and says he never has AK, but if you want to continue to think it's retarded to even consider folding then go ahead.

results oriented, but villain just said he would never play AK this way, and maybe not even 44 (and again, do you guys think a 12 pfr opens utg!? seems very close to me, which could further weight his hand away from 44). maybe im wrong, but apart from the results, it doesnt seem a 'typical' 23/12/1.5 is going this nuts this deep w/ AK. At this point, the only thing that bothers me is that Ike disagrees, since he's such a respected poster!!

Interesting, im still not sure i understand why someone would bet almost full pot on that flop with KK. Pretty sure that, to stack someone when they have set over set is not a good enough reason as you loose a huge amount of value from a bunch of hands which you are more likely up against.

Clearly it was a good reason since op called off 550 bb's drawing practically dead.

How often is set over set occurring compared to a normal hand where he can make 30-50 bb off a weaker hand, not to mention that he prob gets 300bb in with set over set anyways.
