Re: Official Stars Regulars Thread: Part II
There's a player named KingArthuro who I have tangled with at NL25 many times and seemed nittish and beatable, although he usually sat only when he had position to the left....however more recently I have seen him sitting at tables with LARGE stacks (this morning at one table with over $170)
Anyone else familiar with this player? 2+2er? |

Thoughts on any of these guys? bennyboy85 Herndogg qwertyman1 paultjuh Ja Hunta Wild_Bill_X Lucky_Luke15 mrbumpkin AngeL_fH Boston pkt 8 [/ QUOTE ] The only one from this list I've played with is qwertyman1, but he seems like a pretty standard TAG...fairly predictable and easy to play against if you have position on him. Different story OOP, obv. |

Re: Official Stars Regulars Thread: Part II
i find that qwertyman1 will fold to 3-bets almost like always....easy pickins when he raises in late position
angeL_fH is a good solid TAG |

angeL_fH is a good solid TAG [/ QUOTE ] Agree that angel is a good solid TAG. Pretty sure I've seen screenshots on this site of him playing NL200 6-8 months ago, however I've run into him at NL10/NL25. I had one interesting hand against him that I posted http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...ue#Post11449499 Not sure if he was BS'ing me, but if he was serious about folding T9 on that hand, that might be useful information for some. |

Re: Official Stars Regulars Thread: Part II
Bennyboy85 doesn't play tighten up enough from UTG. Will play the same hands in the CO as UTG, but steals a bit more from the button.
I also have a couple hands on him with a B3B line w/ TPTK on a very wet board. |

Re: Official Stars Regulars Thread: Part II
I wonder if Hellscreem at 10NL ever sleeps. It doesn't matter what time or what day it is, he/she is always there. Pretty agressive too on all streets. But I think on average, players are too agressive at this limit (or I may be too passive). I sometimes just fold AJ in ep because it seems to get crushed. Also, a lot of players at this limit seem to play weak top pair the same as top pair top kicker. Either oblivious to overpairs or too agressive or sometimes exploiting me for playing cautiously when threatened with a big pot. Makes it very tough to read hands. Might be better to buy in for $6 at this limit?

Re: Official Stars Regulars Thread: Part II
splifftwista, redscorpion_x (a buddy of mine), mambreno and andiminator all seem like very solid players, I try to avoid these guys unless I think I can get them to lay down a hand by pushing +EV hands and folding when I don't think my hand is good on the flop.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] at NL25, i've seen some of the solid regulars as: redscorpion_x (not sure how it's spelled) I definitely try to avoid big pots with these guys. There are a few others, but I can't remember at the moment [/ QUOTE ] Wow i remember this guy at nl50 like more than a year ago....i can't beleive he's still down there. [/ QUOTE ] He plays nl25 actually. He seems pretty solid too. [/ QUOTE ] He's fairly solid. I have him as losing after 500+ hands but that may be the sample size. Plays about 25/15/2.5 |
