mid set and SNFD in straight board 4 players
Hello, i have a very tought spot, sensed myself kinda *freerolled*. the game is rather typical, no any strong reads agains everyone (and as you see probably it would help). it looks like a theoretical queston thought
hvnt remembered all details so hand probably may have some mistakes (ipoker network) Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $0.10/$0.20 6 players Stack sizes: UTG: $23.40 MP: $64.70 CO: $38.25 Button: $24.60 SB: $18.15 Hero: $46.95 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4: UTG folds, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds, Hero checks, 2 folds. Flop: [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]j[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 ($1, 4 players) Hero checks, MP bets $1, CO raises $2, Button calls, Hero calls (?), MP bets $5, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls (?) Turn: [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 Hero bets $8 (?) it was a very tought spot for me. i thought i am against NFD alsomt everytime, againt flopped straight absolutely. I didnt pushed flop because of these reasons, dont think my set is good. i ever thought about folding that at the flop. How nitty i am? On the turn i bet to see where i am, and i think i also made some mistake? cant simulate that on propokertools btw. |

Folding this flop seems nitty. Why bet 8 dollars into 21 dollar pot on turn? I probably bet 2/3 pot and fold to a raise, unless it came from the button.

Re: mid set and SNFD in straight board 4 players
I check the turn. Worse hands are drawing almost dead and you will struggle to get two streets of value from worse, but you might get a river bet.
Flop is an interesting spot. Usually I lead. If I check I can never fold for $2 here with so much behind, even if we have hardly any nut outs. I don't like raising either because of the stacks, we are too screwed when we run into bigger flush draw and straight, so I call. |
