I like a c/c more on the flop
villain is never folding a better hand if we bet, and he will likely bet a wide range if we check in this spot.

I c/r this flop a lot. He'll probably bet/call the flop with any two cards. You have the best hand often, and usually 7 outs if behind.

yah c/r is even better
same bluff inducing but more value and we don't give any free draws to live 6 outers on the turn

Raise PF, Bet the flop and I think this guy will check through the turn more often than he will bet.

pretty much the opposite of this. raise pf is bloating the pot with weak showdownable hand vs a monkey.

as played in op he almost never checks through the turn and if he does he probably would have folded anyways, so checking is still better.

IŽd bet flop.He calls almost every hand. And with these stats I guess he is only betting 30% of the flops when checked to.We lose value and give freecards too often when checking to these kind of opponents.
I save my checkraises/checkcalls to loose aggressives.

If this is against an unknown then the turn can't be right. With somewhat of a read (like this guy only calls on ragged flops with a pair and always bets when checked to) this is fine. I do occasionally go for the screwplay, but it's usually on the river and I'm not convinced it makes me that much more in the long run then just betting out.

free card isn't terrible here pot is tiny. getting him to to put in a bet with a six outer is very good. the few times he bets makes up for the times he checks behind. if he folds a six outer to our bet we gain very very little.
