about the video card, that's weird if u have 2 cards rather than 1 card with 2 outputs, but meh, i'm no expert here, a quick post in cth should clear everything up...

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah I was thinking about doing that. I thought it was weird that I had two cards, too, but the computer recognizes them both. They do each have two outputs-- I should just go ask the CTH folks.

for the chair, how much is too much?? staples has a pretty big range, going from like 40 to 500, so they do have variety anyway...

[/ QUOTE ]
500 is too much. I'm not ready for a Permanent Baller Setup yet. 150-200 would be fine, although if slightly more gets me a much better chair I'd do it. Looking for bang/buck here.

Sounds like you have a dual-SLI setup - you bought a gaming pc?

nath,

Head to Staples, Office Depot or whatever office store is closest. Sit in the chairs starting from cheaper to most expensive. Stop when you find one that you like.

When you are ready for a good chair, check out Herman Miller.

This was pretty much the exact plan I came up with about 15 minutes ago.

ok, so today is my 21st and i have a few things to celebrate:

- i can now buy alcohol, but i dont really drink much alcohol so meh

- i registered for spring classes yesterday. this is good and bad thing. No longer can I do whatever the hell I feel like (ie sleep in every day). However I will get to meet a lot of new people with classes starting up again, and this works well in two facets: one, that I will be able to feel like a normal human being around campus. two, i will get to meet and approach girls again thanks to part one. there was something about doing the only poker thing around my town that lead me to want to be single.

- i have had a really succesful month with poker.

of course, all of this means i'm sorta abandoning my dreams of moving out west for the time being, but i'm okay with it.

on that note, is anyone gonna be in vegas in early december around the time of the 5 diamond bellagio classic? or PCA in January?
