hand 2: later in the match, it had gotten a little crazier, whoever was button was opening a lot of the time [seemed like all the time for him] and c-betting very often.

I presume he called your 1st hand which was reason for you to call in the 2nd hand although I rarely think you can be gd unless the meta- game got so major-ly sick! ! !

Hand 1: Fold preflop. As played nice river check-raise.

Hand 2: I woulda checked the river. I don´t think he calls with a worse hand. If you make the bet though you should be prepared to call a check-raise from a missed draw I guess. Were you right?

First one is really bad, either make a play on the turn or make a hero call on the river because this is usually a spot where he is stone bluffing or is never folding. I don't think he will fold QJ.

The main reason you are betting hand two is to induce this sorta [censored] so you gotta call, I play it exactly the same.
