As someone who mostly lurks in the politics forum, I would have to say that there's been an improvement over the last few weeks.

What I meant was that we're right back to where we are *as far as who's doing the modding*. Since the "improvement crew" has become less (visibly) active, things have re-improved.

RR is on vacation for a few weeks. I'm still averaging the same number of locks/bans per week now as I was when i first started. The only thing that seems to be less visible, is the fact that people aren't coming to ATF every time they get a 6 hour suspension, or their thread duplicating 6 others is locked.

I think the quality of the politics forum is pretty good - I would like to see a little more active input from mods in keeping threads on track, but I understand that one political issue tends to bleed into discussions about other relevant issues (and i've been guilty of derailing threads as well), so I don't mind a fairly handsoff approach there either.
