Getting 8.5-1 with Ace high against an unknown isn't bad. I call.

this is tough, if we had AK i think itd be a much easier call down, AQ here if we call the turn we must call the river, you need to make up your mind postflop, if we are calling the turn we must call the river, otherwise we can fold both.

The question is whether we have ~12% pot equity at this point, which would warrant sticking another desperate bet in. I could do the math vs. a TAG, LAG, but unknowns are just unknown. What do we assume for a standard unknown opposition on 2p2?

I've seen far worse hands capping PF and betting the whole way than you could imagine, so it's not that close a call to me.

I think its pretty close, particularly if UTG would cap AJ, KQ, or weird hands sometimes. His hands are tied so he has to bet his whole range on the river (which has us crushed but not necessarily 8:1 crushed).

Against a lot of straightforward 25/18 types this is a wicked easy fold though. Limits and site would help.

I toss it pretty easily as well. The guy has to cap a worse hand when you 3-bet his UTG raise and then 3-barrel. This doesn't happen very often. Certainly not 1 in 9.
