Re: AA standard??
After the turn raise villains range is AK (6 combos but prolly should be discounted), KQ (9), KK (3), QQ(3) and maybe K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img](1) and K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img](1). Against that range you are a 15:8 dog at best, so this is not the time to 3-bet.
Good river, you caught up with KQ. Against KQ, KK, QQ you are now a 9:6 favorite so with the possible Kx hands in his range its almost a c/r although I would prolly just c/c |

Re: AA standard??
I think it looks standard to me. KK,QQ, and KQ are possibilities. I think you're overplaying by 3 betting the turn.

Re: AA standard??
On the turn it looks very bad for you given the line villain takes against you. But you have to call.
On the river, it looks much better now that you beat KQ, so it's an easy call (and you would have to call I suppose if the river had been an 8). |

Re: AA standard??
I'd play it the same until the river. The deuce is probably the best card you could have hoped for besides an A, and makes the river an easy call.
I looks like villain might have KK or QQ, but KQ cant be ruled out. In addition, you state its your first hand with him, so you have no idea if he's a maniac, solid player or a retard. Whats holding me back from raising is the fear of a 3-bet, but I think I might actually raise it, as I always get suspicious when people start tossing in chips at every opportunity in their first hand. Re: AA standard??
It's standard to the river where I would raise and call a 3bet. You are only behind KK and QQ and sometimes QQ wont even 3bet river.
Don't always 3bet the flop, call and raise turn sometimes. |

Re: AA standard??
This is good, sometimes I'd call the flop raise to raise the turn on this board and in position.
