Default Ho Chunk -- 1/2 NL begins...

Ho Chunk finally started a 1/2 NL game on Sunday and Monday. Sunday was $5 per half hour timed rake, Monday was 10% of the pot, $4 max (I think).

Both times they opened it up tables filled quickly and they claim to be willing to run it Sun-Thurs from now on. Not sure where they'll settle on rake, though.

This is nice to hear for me. The 5/10 PLHE game seemed to be drying up and the 10/20 limit is very sporatic. This could be a nice steady game that still offers a decent return.

Until now there was only one NL game per week, 3/5 on Sundays. They also had a 5/10 PLHE game on Mondays. The rest was limit.

So pretty exciting news that they seem to be willing to offer NL most of the time now.

They offer 3/5 NL only on Sundays. Looks like 1/2 NL will be the regular NL game. They also took away the timed rake.

$100 min $300 max.

100-300

This game is soft, people making tons and tons of bad calls. This game is as long as I dont get unlucky I am good to go. unless I make a blunderous error with 2 pair Vs and obvious set. Oh well. Game has spread everday Sund-Thur, but of course on Friday at 1pm we were playing. They didnt do it on Saturday. They are worried that there limit games will dry up faster than..... I think its here to stay, and will be offered everyday.

Incidentally, it appears this game has killed the weekly Sunday 3/5NL game. Sigh.

I'm moving to Madison in a month, and this is the best news I've heard in a LONG time.

Awesome.

What kind of comps do they give to poker players?
