very quick flop question
I raise on the btn w/ A2o, and the aggressive sb 3 bets. His range here is perhaps A2s+ A5o+ 22+ QJo+
Flop is TT9 rainbow, he bets, I fold. Completely completely standard right? |

Re: very quick flop question
yes... if he is 3 betting you light, i would cut out a2o and a3o and throw in a random suited connector instead... dunno if thats right, but I think 76s plays much better than those hands against that range post flop... you atleast know where you are at and hit more flops

Re: very quick flop question
You're either crushed or he has 10+ outs, pretty easy fold.
An interesting question is what's the lowest Ax we are peeling here planning on showing down if no bad cards fall? |

Re: very quick flop question
I call here pretty frequently, honestly. If it's like TT3 it's a different story.

I always have a hard time with this spot and have been trying to fold the flop. Problem being if the turn is anything none broadway I talk myself into calling again given the hands I hope he has...JT/QT/QJ/QK/etc |

Re: very quick flop question
Id be more likely to call the TT3 flop than TT9.

Re: very quick flop question
For me, it really depends on his 3-betting range and how often he'll 2 barrel. Against tighter players, I'll just fold the flop; I see no real reason to continue because I'm just going to be taken to value town way too often. Against overly LAGgy players, I'll intend on showing down unless the board gets really bad. Against players who are more cautious about 2 barreling, I'll float the flop planning on seeing what he does on the turn: if he bets, I'll fold; if he checks, I'll bet and plan on taking it down. If called, I wouldn't bother with the 3rd barrel.
But as a default, I don't see a problem with folding. |

[/ QUOTE ] if the blinds are aggro, or both 50+ vpip, I would just fold a-dick on the button. What invariably happens is you get 3banged, and fold the flop, or they both call, and you bet the flop with 3 outs, bet the turn with 3 outs, and check the river. Or you flop and A, and it goes, c,c, bet, f, f. |
