Re: Eve Online
[ QUOTE ]
Lost my first ship yesterday, and got pod-killed as well (making me activate my clone). Just got unlucky to be traveling in the wrong space at the wrong time- killed me in two shots. The kicker was when I bought a new ship, and started to travel around and pick up the various components I had purchased to outfit it. I had a single .4 (low security) space on my itinerary, and lo and behold, I got nailed by another pirate. This didn't cost me much; he was kind enough not to pod kill me and the ship he destroyed was insured (and had nothing installed on it; components are not insured). As they say- don't fly anything you can't afford to lose. Time for me to run some missions and do some mining in safer areas to rebuild my bankroll. The beauty of Eve is that my skills are improving all the time, even when offline- I will be significantly more to deal with soon. Revenge is a dish best served cold. I can't wait! [/ QUOTE ] You're so close to making me drop $1,500 on a new PC. I hate you. |

Re: Eve Online
Heh. The nice thing about Eve is that it has been out for almost 2 years, so you don't need a screaming hot box to run it.
