14K hands in 5 weeks? Weaksauce bro! You should be grinding out 60K a month!

Heh, I know, I was in school until June 20ish I played 30k last month and would be playing more this month if the graph I posted in BBV didn't make me scared of online poker.

I don't know how I missed this, and I'm bumping it because it's a great post. Mods: He can be a PB now, it's coo. This post does the trick.

AZ: Hope you are running sick hot. I was at a table with you not too long ago when you got AK all in pre against AJ and you got stacked. GREAT times.

Nice post, but maybe some of us just suck at poker, and saying it's variance could be a cop out. Or maybe my confidence is still shot from the 'variance' ...

Seriously, great post az. One of the best I've seen on 2+2. Everyone should bookmark this and read it when they're running bad or even just having an off day.

very very nice. I'm just getting over a bit of a downswing (up 6 buy ins today whoo hoo) and finally starting to learn to control my emotions. Usually the first bad beat doesn't bother me, 2nd is getting on my nerves, and 3rd real bad beat means im donking off a stack somewhere. They have to be pretty bad but I've gotta stop this nonsense. anyway great post, I think I'm saving it for next time i run bad

Good post!!

Whats interesting to me is that a downswing often occurs because of just a couple hands. I ended up down 2.5 buyins at NL 100 yesterday because I got all in with KK vs AA and my set lost to a gutshot straight. If I win those two hands Im up about 2 buyins for the day. It becomes easy to think you suck just because you lose a lot of money when in reality its often 2-3 hands that make all the differnce in your day. Of course I dont play 3466663322288798433 hands a day like some people.
