Default Good Omaha 8 games in Los Angeles (Low limit and mid limit)

Howdy ho everybody,

I've been playing LO8 for a few months and have read Ray Zee's book cover to cover a number of times, so I like to think I know what I'm doing.

Yet, I'm still having trouble at the LO8 tables, particularly 3/6 and 4/8. I haven't even touched 6/12...my bankroll is just too low.

Can anyone tell me where the really good LO8 3/6 games in Los Angeles are? Also, are their any mid-limit LO8 games in LA? I've yet to find any, and I'd eventually like to move up from the low limits.

Thanks!

I think the Bike spreads the most Omaha, but I'm not sure if it's just high or if it's O8. I'd try things out there.

Hawaiian Gardens has a really good loose passive 2/4 and 3/6 O8 game. It also offers 6/12 if you're feeling adventurous. It's mostly old local regulars looking to hit the jackpot.

The bike also has 3/6 and 6/12, but I generally enjoy the atmosphere at HG more cuz the bike players are usually a bunch of old whiny dirty old men who complain and bitch and moan like no tomorrow.

Commerce also has a 3/6 and 4/8 game which is pretty loose passive as well.

You mean a live Omaha/8 game exists that is NOT full of old whiny dirty old men who complain and bitch and moan?

Does anybody know if there are any pot limit O8 games spread anywhere in this country?

Thanks everyone!

What about mid-limit O8? Any of those spread anywhere in LA?

$6-12 WITH $12-24 kill is pretty much a mid limit game. At a juicy game you can probably make equivalent to what you will make at a tight weak $15-30 LHE game. They have $6-12 O/8 at HG and Bike on a regular basis and less often at Commerce and perhaps HP.

Other than that, Im not aware of say a $20-40 Omaha 8 game in Los Angeles.

The Bike has a 3/6 and 6/12 going most of the time in the evenings. The 3/6 at Commerce is impossible to get into. I waited 4 hours and didn't move more than 1 spot closer. Hustler has one that gets going around 11am on weekends. San Manuel has one as well but I can't remember the limts on it.

The Bike had a Pot Limit game going in the evening not too long back but I can't remember if it was O or O8.

The 6/12 HG game has been recommended to me and I might look that one up.
