Does sound bad, but shouldn't players be complaining before the event starts? It can't be too hard for a pro to look at a structure and say "This ain't going to be too good by level x"

Today they're doing 18 rounds (currently at round 12), 15 levels after today. I think they were expecting more than a 5 person increase from last year also.

Starting stack for the $5K HORSE event a week ago had 100 big bets.


This year I actually considered playing the $50k because the structure is worse/shallow.
Rush of cards on Day 2 = new World Champ of Pokah. Mrs. Admo would be proud.

Lol...and aren't people like Howard Lederer and Daniel Negreanu partly responsible for designing this year's structures? I don't get it...

I don't have any problem with the pay structure this year, though I agree with Kevmath that it's weird they made this one event more top-heavy while flattening out the others.
