I've played there and i've seen multiple times where the dealer can't figure out the winning hand and gives the money to the wrong person (after, of course, mixing all the cards together).

It's sad. Harrah's in New Orleans seems to have been completely mismanaged and behind the times when it comes to Poker.
When they first started out, they had that great poker room (Blue Dog) but they spread stupid games- The only hold em was the Half and Half. Other than that it was Omaha (HI) or stud. Then they made the brilliant move to the cramped crap-hole in the middle of the slot machines where it is seemingly impossible to get a table and the dealers are SLOOOWWWWW. I gave up on that place quite a while ago.

Have read it several times. I assume you are saying they did pay Player A and said he had a flush?

If so, I think there has to be more to the story.

I agree. I play there regularly, and I've never seen anything like this happen. Some of the floors are extremely weak, some of the dealers are very bad, but I've never seen them favoring regulars over tourist players when awarding pots.

As far as racism/sexism, I've not seen it. I may not be very sensitive to it as a white male, but about 1/2 the staff are either black or female. I don't really see how they could get away with much.
