Default Live play software

Does anyone know of any software used in conjunction with live play?

Is there an interest in software that would be used for this purpose? If so what features should it have? What kind of data would be realistic to collect and be useful? The only thing that I can think of is session tracking (where, when, how long, BB/hr $/hr, ?).

I thought I'd ask here because (I assume) most players here play live, as do I. I want to get feedback from live players and am not really interested in most of online software for live play. I have pokertracker and it is overkill, due to the fact that you have to provide it so much data (hand histories) to make useful.

I haven't found any poker software in my 5min google search that is specifically for live play and thought that I might just write it myself.

If that's all you are tracking, use a spreadsheet.

I did that...but it got annoying. It doesn't scale well. Once you get a lot of data it is really hard to change things.

Is there trackable items that I might be missing?

Try this... https://www.checkyourbets.com/

It's pretty good and you can export the info to another spreadsheet if you want. I created a simple excel spreadsheet, but this added a little more as far as graphing different games and hours played. It's also free.

Cool. This is the kind of thing I was looking for. Free is good too.

Any others?

Statking from Conjelco for years was the only tool available before web resources popped up.

PS: I moved this to the software forum where this topic is normally discussed.

I would be willing to pay someone if they could come up with a program like pokerace hud that works for live games. It would sure help out my game if they had those numbers above their heads.

Would it be out of line to bring a stack of sticky notes and place a piece on their foreheads every few orbits?

This type of technology is ready today. I accept PayPal and PokerStar transfers.

That would work. But something that would be better for the environment perhaps would work better.

Scrolling text headbands. I think I could get everyone at the table to wear them.

Come on people. Someone out there has to have invented the holographic hud already.
