Back in the day, and I stress that this was before online poker, we did a study on this. The result of that study determined that poker was 27% luck and the rest was skill.
But with the onset of online poker and the coming of age of the donkey in 2005, I would assume that number is slightly higher today.

The institute for psychology in gambling did a study in 1983 and determined that success in poker is based on the following weightings:
31%: the hands you are dealt 12%: your aggression at the table 8%: your highest level of education 17%: the environment you were raised in 6%: your exercise regimen 14%: your average daily intake of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 7%: geographic distance to closest server hub 12%: symmetry of facial features 41%: luck http://www.gamblingpsygroup.org/inde...tios&num=3
