Standard Shove or Spewey Lewis?
$3r on Stars. A million runners. 60 left.
Some knucklehead crammed from upfront with what I presumed was a very wide range and I snap-called like fourth to act at an 8handed table w/ 15BBs holding TT and lost to his JJ. So now I find myself in this weird, micro-stacked spot. Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t6000/t12000 (Ante: t1200) 8 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t144410 Hero: t52685 MP1: t100612 MP2: t191328 CO: t171434 Button: t734924 SB: t91416 BB: t219470 Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is UTG+1 with X[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, Hero. . .? My Image: I’ve already shoved a couple times in the last three or four orbits from the button and cutoff. No other reads they can have besides that. Reads: Table is probably not calling too lightly. The BB gets 2:1 and will probably call ~ 20% of hands and maybe he'll call with suited connectors as well, maybe not. History: BB and me played a pot earlier where he shoved from the button for like 12BBs effectively and I called as the short stack with AQs and he had A6o and I held. Question: What is our folding range? |

Re: Standard Shove or Spewey Lewis?
Your M is below 2 so I open-push nearly ATC here before the blinds hit me again.
You might have some FE left, as most of the other stacks are short too, but expect to get called at least by BB. A suited king is more than enough for me. |

Re: Standard Shove or Spewey Lewis?
Yeah, I much prefer shoving king rag than ace rag, just cos you are dominated by the calling range less.
