Default 2 Borgata $1/2 hands

Had the following 2 hands, within a couple minutes of each other last night at 1/2 NL @ Borgata. What's your play and why?

Hand 1:
Hero ($425 stack) has 7d 9d on the button.
Folded to the cutoff (~$225 stack - no great read on him) who bets $7.
Hero calls - blinds fold.

Flop: 7s 9h Jh

Cutoff checks. Hero bets $20. Cutoff goes all-in.

Your move?

Hand 2:
Hero opens the pot for $10 with 5d 5c.
MP guy and button call. MP guy seems pretty straightforward. Button guy is capable of playing any 2 cards and betting them aggressively. Both of their stacks are ~$200.

Flop is 5 6 9 rainbow.

Hero bets $15.
MP guy raises to $30.
Button guy goes all-in.
While Hero is contemplating, MP guy mucks 7 7 face up.
Your move?

I'd call both, berating the other player regardless of their holding the entire time the dealer was dealing.

Ya, I know. I think he didn't realize I was still in the hand or something.

I like hand #1 a lot better with J9. I think I wait for a better spot.

Given your read of button in hand #2, I don't see how you can fold (especially since 78 is a lot less likely now)

the first hand is close. we cant really narrow his range too much, people just suck live, the problem is that a lot of his hands are behind but obviously still have a lot of pot equity. the reality is that with the dead $ its probably a call still because if i had to estimate with a lot of TP hands in his range you'd have about even equity in the pot.

2nd hand, im not folding.
