The Burghoff - cheap food and cheap beer. Steal a beer glass.

[/ QUOTE ]

They closed down a few months ago.

[/ QUOTE ]

Probably from loss of income due to theft.

Too bad you couldn't have been here last week. It was 50 and partly sunny all week. Now it's like 30 out. At any rate. If you live somewhere that doesn't have Brazilian steakhouses, I would go to Fogo de Chao...there are two others right near it..the one not named Sal & Carvao is better then Fogo I hear, but I haven't been there yet to verify.

Also, if you will have access to a vehicle or don't mind sitting on a Metra for a bit..Bob Chinn's Crab House up in Wheeling is really good.

I ate at the Sal & Carvao in Downers Grove last month, had a great time. I had the 'meat sweats' when I was finished.

Where are you staying? In the city?

Lots of cool stuff all over the city, but it depends entirely on where you're staying.
