For a long time I've had the filter for PAHUD set to show hands that had 7-10 players, and the different appropriate stats for 2-7.

I just added filters so it sorts the ranges between HU, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-10. Who thinks this is a bit too much?

So my gf deals poker. This morning I woke up and stirred a bit, which in turn woke her up. She tilted her head up, pointed at several spots on the bed, said "OK," and lied back down.

Me: "OK?"
Her (half awake): "I was figuring out where the button was."
Me: "You lost a button?"
Her: "Well we can't have a game if we don't know where the button is."
Me: "Are you not awake yet?"
Her: "Wait, are we in a poker game?"

[/ QUOTE ]

At this point I think I would have to show her the nuts.

I find I play much better after a short day or 2 break after burning out. Coincidence?!

Poker is a game best played fresh with active, non-regurgitated thought processes!

This is deja vu all over again.. wasn't this discussed before?

Same thing used to happen to me with golf.. the more I played the more I sucked because of all the tiny adjustments that took me out of my 'default' game. Taking time off restores you to your 'default' game which is better with no baggage.

Hey all, LG checking in...I've been away a LONG time...I haven't been able to play any poker but for a sporadic home game that will only play small stakes NL (not a bad thing per se). I had to stop playing online last fall for various reasons (not related to the legislation though...I'm still overseas so mostly unaffected but things got interesting locally) and unfortunately work blocks access to 2+2 (despite my protests) and no, IP proxies won't work (and not worth endangering my job) so with a busy home life I hadn't had a chance to participate in the forums either (just lurk)

I'm going to to try to get back in the swing of things...I'm actually back in the U.S. now for a couple weeks of vacation and may have a chance to hit Foxwoods or Hinsdale. I really miss not playing and discussing hands in the micros...

Brag: Just got my copy of PNL.
[censored]. Did you get it early for being a mod, or is it available now at finer bookstores across the nation?...

[/ QUOTE ]

On the NL front, I too am very excited about PNL...From what I have heard, it should be all that and a bag of chips...I am very jealous Wook!

@marchron-

I have been scouring Borders and B&N since I have been back and even though it is "in" their systems, the 6 or so stores I have been to (The DC area) do not yet have it in stock (only avail for order). I only have two weeks left here and If I don't find it I will just order it and have it shipped home.

Well, I hope to see you all a lot more! Later!

I haven't tried it yet, but theoretically you should be able to purchase anything online through ePassporte.
