Nits dont play a lot of hands. Nits are bad postflop. Nits don't fold fullhouse. Zeebo theorem.

my thoughts were: If i thought he was prepared to call me down lite, i would jam this river, cause i think in that case he shows up w 22-66 and looks us up enough for it to be profitable when we run into AT JJ 99 88. However as my bet on the turn shows, i didnt think he would be ready to get a ton of money in the pot w 22-66 and as such would really only be showing up on the river calling me with hands that beat me.

why would you ever bet this turn card? he's not folding after he calls the flop and that means ur gonna after fire a third barrel to try and get him off his 88. as played i c/f. he might call w/ worse but i think that's unlikely. I don't think that he'll be betting worse hands so we don't have to worry about getting bluffed either.

also don't like turning our hand into a bluff because that would be counting on someone folding a boat, not to mention we have some showdown value.

don't get these answers. bet $50 on river watch him pay off with his tiny pp. I think you miss value checking river even though you're obviously not calling a bet.

I think that makes a lot of sense.

When we say they don't fold full houses I'm sure he's folding 22-66 to a third barrell. But he's probably calling 88-AA. He probably has the T as well.

fine you can bet the river for thin value but the problem with this hand is the turn bet. its horrendous.

The 14/12 didn't limp/call, he called Hero's SB raise from the BB.

VBing the river is stupid, because his range is weighted towards hands that beat us.
