Re: G911 article about Doyles Room
Ok, G911 is reporting that Doyles Room is accepting US players again. Not sure if this means anything, but it could be start of a trend. However, numerous sites on the Microgaming Network accept US players.

Re: G911 article about Doyles Room
I came up with a few possibilities.
1. Prima is letting them expand to all 50 states again. 2. New payment processor. 3. a bad beat jackpot 4. Doyle is getting arrested. Im on board with 3 being most likely, then 2, maybe 1. 4 is just my personal dream. |

http://www.gambling911.com/online-poker-101807.html Haha so much for waiting. [/ QUOTE ] Sweet! I'm glad Doyle is coming back. As it seems the DoJ cannot do anything about online poker, I hope everyone else will follow suit. With this, the U.S. will have to decide if they want a bunch of offshore poker sites, or if they'd prefer a legal framework that permits U.S.-based sites (like the Wexler bill). Who knows...maybe some U.S. based site will open up just to test the law. |

Re: G911 article about Doyles Room
Yes, this is good news.
And yes, an American site is running, see my post earlier. Ran / owned by Dale Earnhart Jr., Tony Stewart and other NASCAR Drivers. Not a full service site, but a paid membership poker site. A beginning, more so than clububt owned by the Canadian Indian Tribe, real Americans and they are Sports Figures too boot and active in the sport. obg |

Hopefully we'll get a real, full-service ring-game site someday. That will be awesome. I'm glad Doyle told the feds to screw off! Thanks Doyle!! |

Re: G911 article about Doyles Room
I am also impressed with DE Jr, we all recall the court fight in NC over poker; skill / luck.
That site has a NC headquarters address. So, he too is challenging the Feds and NC. Two announcements in a day, things are looking up. Now, if MGM guys PP and brings them back, we are REALLY going to be in business! obg |

Re: G911 article about Doyles Room
Huntersville is around Corneilus, Moorseville, Kannapolis, Concord, and Lexington. Pretty much every NASCAR team out there has a headquarters in one of those towns.
