As I said before, he's an aggressive son of a gun. He played like that against me...banging most pots the whole way.

I have seen him play 1/2 & below before.

Well, his hand is pretty easy to read so if he thinks you are a decent player he definitely put in too much action on sixth. On the other hand, if he thinks you are a lousy hand reader who will keep firing with aces up, then his line is okay. Of course roll-ups are hard to anticipate and you were in steal position, so I suppose he may put you on total air as a possiblity when he calls fourth.

If villain thought it was reasonable that OP has split kings or buried aces, it's reasonable he didn't overplay his hand. He probablly though he drew out and was getting his licks in when he could.

At full tilt, the pros play low limits as part of their deal with the site. Even Phil Ivey has been seen to play 1-2, I believe, and I've played with Keith Sexton and Perry Friedman at various limits from 2-4 up to 5-10.

This was my thinking during the hand, but I paused to re-think it, and I couldn't give him such a hand, considering how it was played. Either he has me beat on 5th (T6)T (then why did he stop at one bet?), or he played an underpair with a dead undercard kicker (T7)T for a full bet on Third, which would be bad considering the odds he was getting. The more I think about it, given the concealed nature of my hand, I think it was really bad for me not to cap Six. I don't see how I can raise the river, or bet if checked-to unimproved, so it probably means the same number of bets went it, but I lost a virtual bet in the case I did fill.

I think this is exactly right, especially considering that (a)he has reason to underestimate your hand and (b) some of these pros play hyper aggro at lower than usual (for them) limits because they just don't care.

Interesting point about the 7 being dead. Missed that. Not sure it matters though.

Personally, If you appeared to steal-complete into me and I had a (quasi) premium pair like split T, I'd call even if my kicker was dead since there's a high probability I'm ahead and can grab the pot on 4th without having to worry about drawing odds too much. Maybe that's wrong?
