Default Is plo really worth it?

With all the terrible play occuring holdem ring games is omaha really worth it? I'd imagine there is much more money to be made playing holdem. Dicuss?

PLO often isn't worth it with fewer tables and thus not as much game selection ability, even if you play multiple sites. Which is why I play NL a greater part of the time.

i agree in part about this.

On the other hand, there are actually 64 books at Walden's right now on holdem. Only one that deals with omaha hi.

Live PLO is gaining in popularity in my area. I'm a very happy man. Online I play about half and half for the above mentioned reasons.

Getting more live plo games spread is like giving me a liscense to print money.

At the 1/2 or even 2/5 NL level live it does sound like it is true; however, I just can't bring myself to play NLHE. When I was out in Vegas I played a little bit to clear my Orlean's room bonus and I was bored. Very bored...does anyone else feel this way v/v PLO vs NLHE?

I don't know what your main concern is, but mine is money.

I used to only play PLO and made a decent amount, but in the past year have switched to primarily play NLHE with the occassional PLO table when the games look good. I think it is important as Bluff said to exercise good game selection which usually means playing HE or a few other games as well

Do not pursue what is illusory - property and position: all that is gained at the expense of your nerves decade after decade and can be confiscated in one fell night. Live with a steady superiority over life - don't be afraid of misfortune, and do not yearn after happiness; it is after all, all the same: the bitter doesn't last forever, and the sweet never fills the cup to overflowing.
