A fold isn't that crazy. Why would you and your roommate argue about the hand being foldable if villain didn't show up w/ 33 or KJ? The ten was a bad turn card for you and spade king or jack would be an awful river. Why not check behind on the turn and see what comes on the river before deciding whether you want to put all of your money in?

Probably because checking behind here is insanely weak tight? Will anyone give any serious replies, honestly...I didn't post this in BBV for a reason.

The turn is an easy shove after you are checkraised. He can definitely have worse hands. And there are plenty of river cards you would prefer not to see as they will kill the last bit of action to go in - eventhough there isn't much left anyway. I'm sorry that you lost the hand - but your play IS perfectly fine. It is literally shocking at some of the stuff you will see turned over against you in this spot.

I would never fold.

I would also push. Excellent chance to double up. I agree with Lloyd and other posters - I am always amazed to see what people table after calling an AI, especially early on, in a short handed tourny. He could easily have something like QTs, for example, or some other midpair/combo draw here. Or even worse. You will be well ahead most of the time.

Cheers
