Me and Villian are both even in chips with about $100

i am BB and pickup 66 and he is utg+1

villian makes it $1 to go. 1 caller in mp. I call.

Without a read on villain what could he have that beats you? 99? T9 (don't think he'd play it like this...), TT (probably the hand I'd fear the most). I'm also not a fan of checking a flopped set against an unknown. Looks to me that you could have gotten more money here

Edit: against an unknown I'm getting my stack in there everytime

i don't mind the flop check, this flop likely hit noone and you're not too worried about giving a free card... might as well try to get a continuation bet from villain.

he's obviously strong with that river raise, although i'm having a hard time putting him on a hand. AA/KK are very possible. I probably make it $40 here... overpairs may call, naked 9s always call, and you'd be suprised how many boats will call instead of raise.

Results oriented thinking...he probably had T9...
You have a full house with a pocket pair...This is the nuts a large majority of the time.
