Re: ($24) AKo played passively PF vs. a LAG. Line check
Is the turn check meant to trap to induce a riv bet? I am never limping AK to open. I like the flop but would be betting turn 100% of the time.

The villain is 27/22. [/ QUOTE ] What else? These can't your only reads. I counted you some months ago, and nothing changed, how bad, IMHO, but I might missed. Well, however, if you want to trap here, check Flop&Turn and call at least any River. If you wanna play the Turn, don't play it so, that you will get burned by most of their range. If you bet the turn, without a really good read of what to do what happens when he reraises, well your problem and no good poker IMHO. |

Is the turn check meant to trap to induce a riv bet? [/ QUOTE ] vers, yes, since there are only us left in the hand and there aren't many cards who could do a harm if I'm ahead. And I'm obviously calling the river bet. [ QUOTE ] What else? These can't your only reads. I counted you some months ago, and nothing changed, how bad, IMHO, but I might missed. What more do you want me to have in like 6th hand of a tourney when I'm multitabling?! And as for your "advice", it's just so ridiculous (how can I check the flop with SB betting out, for example) and you have so much grudge (?) against me that I'd just ask not to comment my post anymore plz. |

Re: ($24) AKo played passively PF vs. a LAG. Line check
I prefer raising it up pf around 3xBB and betting the turn. If you are checking the turn though I think you are committed to calling the river, so your call is good.

He leads flop, you raise flop, but you check turn? I dont like this and would bet turn 100% of the time when you guys both have a PSB left

This flop is so dry that vs a LAG I might just call three streets, trying to get stacks in.

You are probably way ahead / way behind. The money can all go in on one street, and I'd like to give him a chance to bluff at the river. |
