I don't think you played it badly vs an unknown. if BB is a thinking player he will often have a Q, hoping to trap the fish for multiple bets

I completely missed there was a third guy in.

Disregard my firsty reply.

I still think a river raise fold is an option tho

yea raising the river would be good. noone folds for one more on the river. I'd call a 3bet though because the pot would be huge and we played our hand strangely

I don't mind it. Board is super uncoordinated so there's no need to risk scaring out the third party. Even if you weren't necessarily thinking about that it's not a terrible play. You have to be ahead 66% of the time that he doesn't fold a worse hand and factoring in the possibility of that unwanted outcome it could be more like 75% of the time that you need to be ahead.

Here's a question. Let's say he raises the flop and gets called by both. Now one of them c/r's the turn, is this an easy fold or do we still call down hoping they are both on pocket pairs?

Considering that this turn put 7000 draws out there, I can't fold to a turn C/R except vs. the passivist of passives.

I actually love this line. You've got two players probably drawing close to dead. Let the idiots hang themselves with AK, JJ, A4, 66, or maybe some other hand they might fold if you played your hand aggressively.

And I've seen stranger things than someone leading with AQ here, it's not unheard of. (especially after it's 3 barreled, against a sane player the chance of a Q goes up significantly IMO).
Thus, I would probably not raise the river. Against an aggro/showdownish player I might go for a raise if the board was safe on the river.
