Default bank roll $2,000 what site? what limit?

I am relatively new to the game of limit hold em'. Could someone please advise me as to what site I should play at and what dollar amount to begin playing? I've set my bankroll at $2,000, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

full tilt or absolute with rake back. If you start getting really into it and are playing tons of hands, perhaps switch to stars at the new year.

2/4 sound about right?

2/4 Full Tilt w/ rakeback. Play sane, 'cause no one else does. Clear 2 BB/100 before rakeback. Robusto ensues.

Yup, 2/4 is to high for someone who's just starting out and only has 500BB.

Try 0.5/1 or 1/2 for a while.

what size of a bankroll would i need to play 5/10, 10/20, 15/30 or 30/60? people don't seem to chase their hands as often at these levels as they do on the lower limit games?

from the sounds of it, you should be playing the lowest limits available and have a ways to go before playing 5/10+.

Online play is much, much tougher than live play. If you can play at Party, then it is only much tougher.

Assuming your above statement is 100% serious, I think you should beat .5/1 for at least 15k hands before you get ahead of yourself.

What does "troll" mean? I mean, the chasing hands thing was hilarious. Does that mean fake poster or bad player?
