50NL - Taking on the bully
Villain was running at 33/20/8 in my database, and had been trying to run over everone at the table. Comments on all streets appreciated.

Re: 50NL - Taking on the bully
I personally don't like this. There are much better spots/easier ways to make money at the micros. That being said, if you 3bet pf I follow this up with a cbet. I wouldn't be surprised if he looks you up on the turn the way you've played this hand.

Re: 50NL - Taking on the bully
Re-raise more pre-flop to reduce pot odds.
Either bet flop or check-raise to continue your line and stay aggressive - as played you have turned over control of the pot to your opponent. It's either fold or raise once he bets the flop. Turn is an easy fold. Looks like he has a made hand, and I really can't see him folding to a push here. |

But you are mainly hoping that your opponent folds pre-flop. On the flop, I think calling a bet is out of the question. It's bet or raise if you want to continue the line, but I also like a check/fold in a lot of cases. |

Re: 50NL - Taking on the bully
Getting under your skin and getting you to play back at the wrong time is this guy's job. You are behind on the turn.

Re: 50NL - Taking on the bully
Those stats don't say "he is trying to run over the table".
Fold pre-flop. |

Re: 50NL - Taking on the bully
Not betting the flop here just screams "I made a preflop play because I'm pissed"
