0.5-1 full house hand.....3bet turn or call

I was considering a raise preflop but since I didn't have any stats I just checked.

Why bet the flop? He might just fold and with a checkraise you can lure them into the pot?..

'I'll give a hint. If he has a Q what does he do if you raise?
If he has a 97o what does he do if you raise?'

I know where you come from xylo but I think he would call down with a lot of hands too.
All I can say is I called down, he also bet the river...and I still won the hand. And if I played it differently I would have won more.

What do you guys think he had?
