Default CAZ 7/7/7 - Worth Visiting?

I haven't been to CAZ in ages but with the whole 7/7/7 promotion/giveaway tomorrow I thought it might be worth a visit.

I'm guessing the room will be packed and I'm not interested in waiting an hour for a 3/6 seat, but maybe it'll be worth it.

Any 2+2er's planning on being there? Anyone been playing crazy slots and have a chance at the Bimmer?

I don't think it will be any worse then any regular Saturday night. The 7/7/07 promotion is pretty much over. You recieved tickets for drawings the past 3 or 4 months, and there were like 5 drawings, where 77 names drawn were put in the main drawing, which is today.

So the people in the main drawing are already decided. I haven't heard anything else going on besides the drawing, so I don't think it will be anything out of the ordinary.

And I just got back from there, I left at 4am, and again, nothing special was happening.

So don't just go because of their 7/7/07 advertising.

Ah cool, thanks for the update. I wasn't sure how the promotion was run so that's good to know.

The drawing is at McKellips anyway. Be glad you didn't go to the poker room the last time they had the drawing there. I was already seated (had 3 tickets in the bin) and it was so noisy with the gabillion slot players with 100's in the bin that they could've set off a volcano without anyone noticing.

True story: I went out the next day and bought the Bose noise reduction headphones.

Be sure to remind me to tell you about the 'Fortune Teller' that Joe consulted with and was telling me and some other guy about. It's got the car in it and a bunch of other stuff. And you know Joe. He takes this stuff serious.

Holy hell there were a lot of people there tonight. I left at 12 after an 8 hour session. I got up 3 times to piss and every time it seemed as though the people doubling by the hour. There was a smokey haze over the BJ tables that I have never seen before.

Lot of hott girls thought, and I made $630.

lol. I don't know. I've had 8 winning sessions in a row, one of which I was down 4 racks within the first 3 hours and after 10 hours I was up 1.5.

No big wins, but I guess you don't need big wins when you aren't having losing nights.

Howard and I are still trying to figure out who you are. Were you playing 40 a few nights ago, wearing what I think was the throwback Braves hat?

If you see me I guess you can call me Q6. lol.

LOL, i heard it...he happened to be at table 45 playing Marcel HU 40 or 60 last night(friday). When i passed by he was racking up and i jokingly said " Hey Joe...less than 24 hours till you pick up your car !"
He laughed a bit and then said wait, you HAVE to hear this...

Reiki master predicted it...still havent heard !

And you are so right, he takes this stuff very seriously.
