the 4 is gorgeous, the [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] not so much. I think this is good though.

if you are going to fold to c/r, you should be checking river

$20 on the turn. charge those draws.

i really hate this $20 river b/f. either shove it or just check.

i agree with shove or check.

bet/fold sucks here because it puts you in a situation to make a big mistake

he calls the river bet with everything we beat, he raises with everything that beats us. i dont see him doing this with a bluff/worse hand. the only thing shoving does is folds out more hands we beat/commits us against the hands that beat us.

is my thinking wrong?

the problem here is that given pot odds on the river you need to be ahead ~20% of the time to make the call.

also comparing to checking behind, you are risking making a $120 mistake, for a potential $20 gain. i cant really be bothered doing the maths, but thats just intuitively bad imo

given a good enough read i guess it could potentially be ok, but really:

i just hate this

actually I dont see many hands we beat and he calls.
Same with the shove. What can it force to lay down we dont beat?
I would bet more on the turn and check behind in the river.

to weak?

I would also bet more an the turn.
