WTF? Would one of the ban proponents care to quote some actual annoying posts that he has made. Durron swung and missed completely with his OOT posts. I don't sense LC is advocating for the ban, but there is nothing wrong there.

I swear if the Sports mods were sent to Politics their heads would explode.

Eh... I wasn't joking, but you guys are probably right about that. But really, it isn't any one post or any one thread.

Those were 4 fairly good threads I posted, and generally, people tend to post analysis in those threads. Having annoying whining/off topic biatching in places like that pisses most of sporting events off.

I know this is a horrible answer, but all the posts I've ever banned BobO for in sports are deleted, as I basically always delete banworthy posts. Also, other of Bob's posts that were inappropriate for the sports forum were also deleted without punishment.

Btw Ive never ever posted content on the sports forum, my posts are preety much one-liners complaining or celebrating recent results.

This is my last post in this thread. I'm not going to sit here and go over detail after detail with you all, on things you already basically know. The fact of it is, he is banned, and due to the way he handled it he pretty much screwed up any chance he had of working out a way for that ban to be relaxed in some way. I'm not going to hunt him down if he comes back in a week with a new account in the manner that other previously banned posters have successfully come back (not making it blatantly obvious who they are and behaving as a poster), but I don't see any reason why I should aid someone who violated the rules and manner in which people are expected to post on this site enough to warrant being banned, and who hasn't shown even the most remote amount of willingness to admit he screwed up or given any reason to believe that he would not repeat the same mistakes if unbanned. Saying I should unban him because he is of value to this forum, could be said by some forum about basically every non-spam banned poster ever.

I've already spent too much time on this as it is. I suggest you all move on with the understanding that there are ways for BobO to rejoin this community, but making him out to be a martyr in this thread is not one of them.
