So I woke up this morning to the sound of awful island music and a street full of [censored]. I immediately though Crown Heights Riots or the Million Man March, part deux. Turns out there's some West Indian Parade here on Labor Day every year.

I never understood these ethnic parades. It's like, "Yeah, I'm from a country where I escaped from because I was oppressed or there were no opportunities so I moved away from there but I'm damn proud to be from there!!"

So much for a nice quiet Labor Day.
