raise more on the flop, ok... I figured I would raise 3x the previous raise, but I guess with two people apparently liking their hand, I should raise more?

well the previous raise was very small and theer was already money in the pot id bump it to ~5.

You want to raise because you would like to get in as much $ on the flop as you can. Its drawy and a lot of scare cards can come and just kill the action.
